Engine Mechanical TopicsDiscussion for motor builds, cams, head work, stripped bolts and other engine related issues. The good and the bad. If it goes round and around or up and down, post it here.
I've got my 2006 Twin Cam engine out and sitting on a stand. I have a full set of chrome rocker inner boxes and covers to swap out as it currently has the plain dull aluminum set installed.
The rocker top covers obviously easy, but can I easily pull the rockers and bits off to swap over the inner boxes without a big messy job?
Is it a simple as TDC on each cylinder and pull the rocker arms or is it much more complex.
Now that the engine is out and full free access.
The chrome top cover look very nice but would like to do the full swap over if easy.
