96 to a 103
Over here visiting from the Evo section. Read some of threads looks like a helpful group so I'll ask.
I'm looking at putting a 103 in place of a 96 in a 2008 UC. The oil pump puked and the end of the crank is junk not mention the bushing in plate looks like somebody ran a pipe tap through it.
Since I'm looking for a used 103 my question is are there any pitfalls as to a year that won't work or maybe alot of problems I'm not considering?
This bike doesn't show (online parts ficsh) to have oil lines, just a gasket between the motor and trans.
Do Appreciate the help

No changes in the 103 from 07 to current to be Leary of. The oil lines are internal, so yes, just the gasket. You can find low to no mile take outs for very little money. I'm taking one out of a 2015 road glide this week with 4000 miles on it that has head work and cams in it. I can find out what the owner wants, for it if you are interested

Liquid cooled came out in 2014 in some touring models with lower fairings. The one I'm taking out isn't cooled. I'll check with my customer and pm you
