After doing a lot of research i decided what fits best for right now is the 110" kit. I already have VH pro pipe, hi flo Ac and SE tuner. Looks like one kit is a lil higher compression and has the tuner. I suspect that since its a "race" kit that voids the warranty. Not too concerned about that. Just wonder if 10.5:1 compression is gonna be pushing it on pump gas. And any input on cam plate upgrades would be appreciated. Im not sure whats been changed since my 06 sg. But i put the billet SE plate on it when it was built and ended up blowing the bearings out after about10,000 mi. Bearings just seem like a bad idea compared to bushings. Im thinking this time S&S plate and oil pump.
S&S 124 crate will get up every time -- no problem grabbing with the 180 or 200 tire, in second gear maybe - not in third unless you have a STAR Racing S&S 124 or 126; they know how to get everything out of a S&S motor --- gas it up on my 06 SG with S&S 124 - S&S crate motors are damn good -- i only know of one failure over the past three years and that may have been operator error on 5k cross country trip --- my 107 would get up in the air, with the clutch - not hard -- good luck with whatever decision you make

So here's where I'm at. Called the dealership today and cancelled my extended service plan. (Which I never should have bought in the first place) Im headed to fuelmoto this Wednesday to talk to Bob about doin one of their 107" kits. Seems to me they are getting better numbers than most of the 110" kits Harley is selling. And the parts are definitely better for the money. So we will see how many weekends I'll be working this winter!!
Well i havent been on here in a while so i thought id give an update. After extensive research ive finally decided to go with a Fuelmoto 126" outlaw motor. I also plan to reduce the gearing right at the motor by getting rid of the compensator and going direct with a 32 tooth sprocket. Also adding a variable pressure lock up clutch. The downpayment is made and the work starts Halloween day!

I do most of my riding in southwest wisconsin where the roads are mostly twisty and hilly. Ive ridden 4 & 5 speed bikes up until this year so i dont think it will bother me to change the gearing. Not as much as having to tall of gearing anyway. If so ill still have the other compensator and stock chain i can always go back. And someone will get a deal on a direct drive sprocket!
i know its been a while but i wanted to get some miles in before i gave my update. When i got the bike back the first thing i noticed was how much smoother and more quiet the motor its self was. The gearing change i made by getting rid of the compensator and dropping a tooth was definitely a good decision. I didnt gain but maybe 300 ish rpm at 70 in 6 th but the way it engages and shifts now is night and day. Low speed takes some getting use to because its touchy. But easy to adjust yourself to that. I ended up with 152 rw tq and 149 rw hp. Wich is 20 of each more than my buddy with a s&s 124. Its everything i wanted and hoped it would be. And it will pull the front end up shifting from 1st to 2nd without trying hard. I rode this summer from wisconsin dells to shreeveport La and back in 2 1/2 days in 100 deg plus heat & 90mph speeds all the way across Arkansas and back. She purred right along. Now the bad news. I did end up breaking it street racing in omaha Ne about a month ago. Racing a stripped down 600 ninja that weighed under 300 lbs & had some minor upgrades. I ended up burning a hole in a piston. But it presented the oportunity to see what Fuelmoto was really about. I took the bike in and in no time at all the tore the motor down and went completely through it. And its not costing me a penny. They are also paying for ceramic coated pistons wich it didnt have before. I cant say enough good things about the guys over there!! Going to them is one of the best decisions ive made. No regrets at all. Not even breaking my bike racing that rice rocket!! The look of disbelief on the guys face was worth every bit of down time!! He couldnt believe that twice he got beat by a Harley. Especially a bagger.
