Engine Mechanical TopicsDiscussion for motor builds, cams, head work, stripped bolts and other engine related issues. The good and the bad. If it goes round and around or up and down, post it here.
So, I dropped my bike off at Hillside yesterday for some wonderful upgrades. Going to be doing stage 1 heads, 98" upgrade and other supporting mods.
Scott is top notch, took the time to walk me around the shop and show me some things he's working on and where he does all his machining.
Scott has done several bikes for me workmanship is outstanding along with customer service. Bikes run very strong and I have put 10's of thousands of miles on them with no problems. I'm sure you will be very happy
Well, picked up the bike last Wednesday. As always, Scott is the man, even sent me packing with a little present! Thanks Scott. Bike sounds great, can't WAIT to get it tuned.
I'll update this post with dyno tuning results in the coming days.
We tune VERY WELL here, and some of our recent builds/tunes can be viewed on our company Facebook, but just not with the tuner he has.
We go, with what we know.

not uncommon at all,the best tuners out there concentrate on tuning, not building
I agree, it is basically required as things are ever changing, I will also add that the best tuners out there can tune with many different tuning devices, no matter which device you use the tables and the basic operating system remain the same. It's just a matter of learning more than one software system as some have many more options than others.
