Default Estimated HP/TQ

Just wondering what ya all think my numbers would be on this particular build. Im going pretty conservative.

2007 96'' Softail Converting to HD's 103 big bore kit. Also a set of andrews 48h, 2-2 rinehard cross back exhaust. Do you think this will get a person in the 100/100 range with a proper tune?

100 TQ yes however no way that will make 100hp. I would say that combo lands your HP in the high 80's.

Yup, high 80s hp and around 100tq. May want to consider using andrews 54h instead. I used these in a 2011 103 with .030 cometic headgaskets for a little compression bump, and ended up with 98/106. Loved the way the 103 behaved with those cams.

You are pulling the heads off to get the big bore on, why not get some headwork done so you can get everything to match. Wont cost much more in labor...especially if you are doing it yourself.

already have the 48's in the bike. was looking at the 103 kit to just give bit more punch and still be conservative on the bike and pocket book.

Most that bore to 103" run a "longer" cam, like TMan 590, Adrews 57, etc. Understand you are looking for cost effective bump and think you can see 110TQ and mid 90s HP with that combination if you install a .030" head gasket in lieu of the OEM head gasket, have the heads cleaned up, chamber volume measured and equalized, new guides seals and a good competition valve job. However, you should have heads drilled and fitted with compression releases to maximize starter and battery life. By the time you pay for the head cleanup, guide seals, etc. you will have spent close to what a basic "street" port job would cost from any number of head porters; well worth the cost. The tune is important, you need good fuel management like Power Vision or TTS Mastertune and a competent tuner to hit those numbers. RH Crossbacks are actually a decent exhaust and should not hold back performance like some 2:2 systems.

Why not bore to 107" while you are at it? Might need to open up chambers to 86c in that event to keep compression manageable.

I was told that a 107 can be abit much for the low end and or clutch longevity. I'm sure there is opinions across the board on this matter. I was just told 110/120 is stretching limits on lower end. So I want to be at that 90-95/100-110. If a 103 kit will do it that was my plan

djl said it.
Low 90's hp, and 110-112 ft/lbs, all in by about 3700 rpms.
