I won't use them - I had Screamin Eagle lifters get noisy with stock cams in about 25,000 - 30,000 miles - I personally have been running the same Fueling lifters for 80 K + behind 3 different cams - 1 Andrews & 2 Woods -including long road trips - I have 2 lifters going soft now. I will use either Fueling or S&S.

To date .,Is harley still using the "C" lifter ? I'm doing a cam swap over the winter and wasn't planning on doing lifters if not neeed. Motor has only 11000 miles on it
I'm no expert, but I would put an uprated lifter in if you're getting in to it anyway. With new cams, I think it prudent to swap out to a better make and model. I am. Just makes good sense to me.

Kept the OEM lifters and push rods when I did cams and big bore kits on my 03 FLHTCI, 09 FatBob and 07 FLHT. Replaced the inner cam bearings on all three
You had the good B lifters in those bikes. I wouldn't have changed them either.

I'm swapping out cams and lifters this winter as well as putting in Rock out lockers, time to make my top end quiet and bottom end from falling apart from cheap a$$ parts.
