unless you'er like the none believer's...who say you really dont need it , (it will be CLOSE enough) ...maybe so ...for a stock motor!!! but you will have a very hard time tuning any performance motor (for street use) w/o it ....
There's a forum guy here, (jcsurf) who recently did a 98 Evo, W8 build with hillside stage II heads and is running a hrs 42 and is having he'll of a time tuning it. He posted his dyno sheet because he's not happy with his numbers and it's pretty obvious that he's running out of fuel@4500rpm and is rich on bottom with a 170 main. Looks to me as if he needs thunder jet and to drop his main to a 160. I told himto call me because i had that exact build with an S&S E carb and produced 97\97. Hopefully I'll be able help him.... Sometimes it's hard to get the proper info out of someone here in the forum to be able to help him or her properly.... Well see if he calls me..
