Well the reason divorce is so expensive is because it's worth it!

40 rwhp stock 1992 xl, $4000.00 and now 120 rwhp . That's about 50 bones per hp.
Not bad for 1.58 hp per cube. That means a 120r would need about 190 hp lol

Ok, this is weird. I answered the question several days ago by logging in on my phone, (on the road), and the answer isn't here.

I got the 574, and I love it!

It's not just a torque cam, and it's not just a hp cam, it's a great combo of both. It pulls strong all the way to 5k+, with no flat spots.

If I'm behind a truck, doing 60, and drop back just far enough to make sure I can see his mirrors, drop it into 5th, even though I absolutely don't need to, and roll it on, I'll pass the cab doing 100.

Considering the motor is still bone stock other than the cam, it's a beast.

"HAMMER PERFORMANCE Bolt-on 1250 Kit with 30 Degree Reverse Dome Pistons
HAMMER PERFORMANCE Sledge Head Porting Service on XB heads
HAMMER PERFORMANCE CRUSH 600 Cams
HAMMER PERFORMANCE Billet Intake Manifold
Mikuni HSR45 Carburetor
Patriot Defender Exhaust System
Comments: This is a pump gas street motor with all bolt-on components. It's also rev 3 of Ryan's motor. Last year he "only" had 115hp. A few updates to his stuff, an excellent job of screwing it together, and a good dyno tune netted him the above chart."

The one above is a street bike. I also have a 1275 xl that's north of 125hp running 10.0 1/4 miles. Street legal, but not exactly streetable.

Bang for buck you can't beat a quad cam based engine imho

Dam!! That's good to hear although I have a 13 streetglide I guess in 14 they changed the cam. But the shop I'm taking it tomorrow mention the S&S 551 or the Chris R 574 which I never heard of and was looking for some feed back. So 574 has good low end torque? I know you already described it but it look like not to many riders have that cam. I might just pull the trigger and tell them to install the 574 cam.

Chris pulled all his cams off his web page because of the CARB/EPA risks. But, Drag Specialties carries his cams, and they're in the Fat Book:

http://www.dragspecialties.com/produ...oductId=410374

http://www.dragspecialties.com/produ...umber=09250847

My charts. Chris uses STD correction factor instead of SAE, so the true numbers are probably closer to 100/105, but still... Oh, and don't underestimate how much the Pro Pipe helps. If you have 2-1-2, or even worse, true duals, you won't see these numbers.

How can you not love that torque curve?!?

If you look at the cam specs, it's reall close to a crane H290 advanced 4 degrees. It's a good cam but I would still consider it more of a mid-range cam.
A 2-1-2 probably won't give you the same TQ curve as posted. I used a 290 adv 4 in a 88 ci Evo.. Ran real well but ran staggered duals.. Also ran a set in a 02 TC 95 ci bagger (10.8 to 1) straight up and it ran real strong with a Fatcat, kind of weak on the low side with TDs but better with a Kromeworks H pipe.
