Default Engine coming apart...upgrade device??

Hey y'all,
My bike is going to the dealer for the clutch recall and a leaking crank case at only 900 miles. Since it all has to come apart, they aren't gonna charge me anything for labor for the stage iv kit. I believe if I brought them other parts, they'll take care of them too. They'll have my bike for four months while I'm deployed, so machine work might not be out of the question. I just need to talk to them.
I've been asking about the SE stage IV 103-110 kit for my 2016 RGS, but i'm beginning to think there might be a better, cheaper or at least the same price option out there. Im reading a lot of good things about the Man 590 cam for low end torque, but I know I can't just throw in a cam, exhaust, intake and tune and get what a full kit/build would get. can anyone please make any suggestions on a build or performance kit option? i would've been spending around $6k for everything including an S&S crank, so I'd like to stay there or lower.
should i get the stage iv along with the intake, exhaust and tune and replace the crank, or do that same thing with another cam to get low end torque, or is there something totally different that would help get where I wanna be for less $$? I'm liking the idea of 115 to 120 hp and tq. I have to decide by the 10th of march, so I'm in research mode.

Leaking crank case. My 15 RGS is showing signs of oil sweat on the bottom of the crank case. No dripping at this time. Is yours dripping or is it just weeping? When I called about my condition they said it was difficult to diagnose and suggested I clean it and ride some more. Making me the investigator.

I had no idea I had a problem until I got it serviced. So it was just weeping. They found it and diagnosed it.

Wish that dealer was closer to me. My dealer wants me to do the inspecting after I clean and ride it.
Kudos to you my friend.

Well that's including exhaust, intake and tune as well. I'm not really sure if the dealer would send off what. Needed to be machined. Of course, I didn't ask yet. I would love the 124", but it would put me over $7-8k total. I wasn't plan on doing anything until I heard the engine was coming out and apart. I want to do something to take advantage of the free labor, but I'm trying to decide how much I want to spend. Im looking into the "stage II" set up as well. I think the exhaust, intake, cams and tune could get me where I want to be. But, I've got some time, so we'll see. Thanks for the advice

You seem to be at a fork in the road;
1) Increase displacement, and hot rod your Harley with HD/SE Components that will be HD Warranty/ESP friendly... 2 types of "warranty",,, one from your Dealer only, the other a genuine HD/ESP Nationwide warranty... The amount that you travel / tour away from home comes into play...

2) kiss the warranty / ESP goodbye and go aftermarket, in which case I would recommend S&S as they have a good warranty and only 1 # to call if any issues should arise...

3) "I think the exhaust, intake, cams and tune could get me where I want to be" 'Having gone the other routes,,, this is the way I would go... Sounds and runs good, responsive, minimal pms, fast enough to get a ticket anywhere....and keep the Warranty/ESP....

you read me like a book. hahaha. I've been running through every possible combination in those three choices, since I heard the engine had to come apart. But, I think I'm gonna go with #3. it'll save me a bunch if money and will get me what I want and hopefully keep my warranty. Does the cam swap with an SE cam allow me to keep my warranty/ESP? i keep finding mixed answers.

"exhaust, intake, cams and tune" will likely not deliver the 115-120 numbers from a 103" motor unless "intake" includes head work and cam selection is spot on.

If cases have to be split, the Stage V Tire Shredder kit is a decent option; the numbers you want and then some have been achieved with that kit.

The dealer is not going to warranty any repair that includes after market parts but they might warranty repairs with OEM parts, that will be up to you to work out with the dealer.
