Default Yet another cam thread....

I apologise if this has been covered but I'm in a slight pickle. I'm about to start a 95" build on my 06 standard with a Vtwin mfg 10:5-1 kit. My mechanic had ordered the SE adj push rods, SE cam plate and oil pump, and SE 211 cam kit. All the parts including the jug/piston kit are supposed to be in today/tomorrow and I get a call yesterday saying that the SE 211 cams are on back order with no delivery date at this time. He is supposed to be checking around today to see if he can find one. My question to you guys is if we can't get our hands on some 211s, what is a comparable cam from another company? This is my first go around with a Harley motor, but my mechanic had recommended the 211s because he has had good results from this cam on a 95" setup.

S&S 585, Tman 590, Andrews 55 come to mind. Look around on Ebay and you will probably find some 211s.

Yes sir I found 2 sets on eBay for my bike. 1 set in Canada and one used set. I'm not sure if I want a used set. The SE part # is 25152-00 if anyone runs across a new set.

My friend has a brand new set of 211 still in the box. I can get info if you are interested.
