Why not 98" instead of 95"? Better cam choices in the aftermarket. How about head work to complete the build?

The build will work well but you need to get the tuning spot on.. Then you won't have any issues. If EFI, don't use a power commander, use a flash tuner or Tmax. If carbed, buy a DTT ignition.

Heads are already done. And already have the 211 cams in it. Also thought of going with moco forged pistons that were made.for this head? I dont need to tweak the engine for every last bit of.power and torque it has. Just want a good solid build that makes respectable.power and is reliable. And as far as the 98 just dont need it.

Everybody I know that says the just "want a good solid build...........reliable" etc. wishes for more once they take a ride on the new build.

Nobody needs more displacement; you don't "need" the 95" but why look a gift horse in the mouth. Just suggesting that the xtra displacement is basically free; cylinder boring and new pistons, same same as for the 95". There might be a small premium for 98" pistons over the MoCo forged units but if so, marginal.

Your combination of parts will work but, as Max has pointed out, the tune will have to be spot on.

Don't worry. Nothing you're doing or wondering to do is too crazy.

Not any hotter than a 95". I did not say there was anything wrong with the SE211 cams; just wouldn't be my choice as there are lots of aftermarket options that might be a better fit but that is your call.

Well spent the money getting my screamin eagle heads done right. So what would be better options for piston cam combo that will.work with these heads? Hate to say it i like the idle.of the 211 cams😘but also the right combination of all parts will work the best. With these heads i know compression will be up there and the 211 likes more compression. So with that said it isnt built yet except for the camsare.installed. i did the screamin eagle hydraulic tensioner upgrade when i installed them. So what reccomendations of cams should i look at?

What heads? Which Wiseco piston? What is piston dome volume? Have the heads been decked? What is chamber volume?

The Wiseco forged flat top is listed with a dome volume of -2cc. Unless I am missing something, the new chambers would have to be 78cc to make any compression with the 211 cams. 78cc chambers would require about a .050" cut on the heads which could introduce intake manifold fitment issues; could mind you not would. Flat tops and head decking or domes with no decking are the two ways to hit a target compression ratio. Everything may be addressed; don't know but nowhere in the previous posts has this been discussed.
