Default 103 to 117

I’m doing a 117 build and am looking for opinions on if I a missing/forgetting something. I have R&R cycles doing the crank, rods, flywheels, balanced, to get my runout in spec for gear driven cams. I have a fueling cam plate and oil pump, woods tw400g-7 cams, S&S gear drive cam kit, S&S lifters with limiters, S&S quickee pushrods, R&R roller rockers, R&R stage4 heads, woods W200-1200-10l valve springs, S&S 117 kit with flat tops, HPI 58mm throttlebody, 5.3g injectors, R&R overflow air cleaner, thundermax a/t, D&D boss fatcat, AIM VPC clutch.

This started as my 2013 Street Glide motor. Am I missing anything from a parts perspective? R&R is going to return the motor to me with the heads mounted, so I’ll just have to put the motor back into the bike and bolt the rest into place. They are going to set compression 10.5:1. They recommended the woods valve springs, roller rockers, lifters, and compression for this build.

Should I replace the compensator with a baker? Should I replace clutch spring or plates? Now would be the time to do it since I’ve got everything apart.

Appreciate the responses -john

Seems like you've got a pretty complete build there...I'd skip the heavier clutch spring though, vpi should take care of any slippage. Depending on how miles were on the clutch plates I'd replace those too.

Are you using R&R to dyno tune the bike? Is this one of their builds? They definitely know how to build a go fast engine so I'd go with what ever they recommend.

I agree, sounds like a awesome build. I'm sure R&R will have some sound suggestions in beefing up all related driveline components.

Keep us posted on your build.

Here's some pics. Stage 4 porting and woods springs. Got the roller rockers, and them rockouts on and just finished with the rocker covers, I'll put the motor back on the bike next and finish putting it back together tomorrow. Ended up getting all new flywheels, they couldn't take the runout of the stocks.

Looks awesome, amazing blending, should make a huge difference. Was wondering why they didn't chamfer hole removing slag (last photo)?
