HI, we just finished a build on a 2016 RGS 103 ci we used a HD # 92500005 stage 4 SE
CNC ported Factory cylinder heads
10.5 to 1 forged pistons
SE-259E cams
pushrods
58mm throttle body
Hi flow injectors
New cylinders
It was installed by a very knowledgeable and professional builder we have not started it up yet. In the injector box there was a WARNING saying DO NOT start up UNTIL the ECM is re calibrated by the dealer or damage to engine and ACRs will result.
I am now running a FP3 and have a SE Tuner came with the kit
Can I start the bike without hurting the ACRs or engine I believe there worried about fuel management more the hurting the ACRs
I'm looking just to break new engine parts and send to dyno with Dynos choice of tuners thanks
If it is done by a professional builder then the correct mapping should already been uploaded onto the ECM. And as a matter of fact he should already have started the engine. I assume he or she did a compression test as well.
If the above is done, start your engine.
If not, you will need to select the mapping closest to your configuration and upload it.
And start your engine.
Then off to the dyno for the actual tuning.
Success!
