Tommy the benefits of hand porting IS that no matter how off the casting is from MOCO the experienced hand porter will correct and you’ll get a great port every time. The CNC programs can’t accommodate for the casting differences so welding before porting is often done. Your hand port job is solid. This new tech you found should be able to detect any heat damage if any has occurred and measure cylinders for trueness. If valves are bent you’ll see witness marks on piston so if all looks good you’re probably good. Get it all back together with a good tune and start finally enjoying it.
As for the LEG porting...I concluded you meant you’ve seen a guy hand port w the head resting on his leg. How you construct sentences is throwing people off....but that’s a thread for a different forum lol. Good luck. Stay focused
Tommy, you haven't learned the most important thing you could have learned; you don't know what you don't know and are way in over your head. Best advice I can provide would be to take the bike to your new found mechanic and let him have it until all is sorted out. Once sorted out, post the dyno sheet and leave it alone and ride.
Leg porting might have meant porting the runners. You say you found a good mechanic, he should know what to check and give you a good diagnoses of the problems before tearing all the way into it.
Tommy, people would be more than happy to answer your questions if they knew what the he'll the questions actually were. It is virtually impossible to follow 99% of your posts. Try typing slower, and remembering your audience has likely not been smoking the same "****" as you....
Those posts DONT reflect you, I know what kind of man you are, thanks man, no ones perfect, **** my own wife rips me, its PTSD, im told....who knows...in person, im the quietest person you'll meet, imagine that, actually makes people uneasy around me at times, lol, I get that you O.K. with a scared look on there faces, once or twice a week, go FIGURE!!!??
