WELL IF my engine modder says theres damage, which I've already seen with camera, and instructed what to look for, lent too my from my current, legit Harley mechanic!!!, and I talked to lawyer at this point, I get 3x's the money back, its the fair act something something...this guy did me wrong, EXTREMELY WRONG,I just need that email, or else ill have to discover different paths? If works out,I will split my cases, weld/pin crank/timken mod, as I see he does all that, I didn't know that, id rather have it all done in one place, I just always hear Darkhorse, But Hillside is my guy, and he has all thats needed, I was thinking last night, as long as he can email a report on damage, I can move ahead, and do just that, boring the case, 117? not sure, but I already talking to a guy about a new, Grudge Box, and he has a Brand New Sprocket & Chain Kit, Evolution industries, not just the compensator remover/replacer, but converts from belt to chain, so seems I might just be heading that way anyway, I don't want compromised parts?
Who would?
Well see, still interested in that thermal coating, but haven't heard anything, so im assuming its not a good thing,

The idea seemed good, but I didnt like the process? exp...the pistons get coated, the internal cylinders...not sure how that works out in a world, of exact tolerances, for MAX HP?

This new tech you found should be able to detect any heat damage if any has occurred and measure cylinders for trueness. If valves are bent you’ll see witness marks on piston so if all looks good you’re probably good. Get it all back together with a good tune and start finally enjoying it.
As for the LEG porting...I concluded you meant you’ve seen a guy hand port w the head resting on his leg. How you construct sentences is throwing people off....but that’s a thread for a different forum lol. Good luck. Stay focused
hey is there any benefit to using rocker rollers, everyone I talk to says no??? not a different lift, stock lift, just Stronger/Rollers?better pockets for pushrods, I have S&S so I would get stock forged SSS rollers, thoughts?

not sure WHY in stock length, these are bad, id get the new ss shafts as well, being 3/4" and al, I just KNO theres damage here, that last indy I was complaining about, another thing he messed up, was not knowing how to adjust pushrods, they were tapping like crazy, im sure somethings outta wack, hairline crack etc.....
http://www.zippersperformance.com/ss...cker-arms.html

I have the DT Thayer oil pump coming, I researched, theres no equal, in my eyes, just not sure, if I go with the R&R campmate, or red fueling, I read on these Tapered Baisely rods for blowout valve setup, pressure release, etc, what ever u want to call....im removing the blue S&S pump and cam-plate combo, chain driven, under 200 miles on drivetrain since install.,<$400.00> if anyone wants lmk I'll sell cheap..... ill only sell after Hillside removes, measures , and gives me the ok, I wouldn't sell anything broken, btw I have a complete 96b setup, pistons/tappets/pushrods/covers.all hardware, I went all Diamond Engineering when rebuild all of bike, rotors/calipers etch. deal directly, they've made custom hardware to replace like Kuyarkyn Skythe mirrors weak *** bolts, lol,

etc, $100.00 I dont care, 2900 miles on it, like new, rather help someone out, if want to freshen up motor, Hillside can Attest to motor, when he received and modded, all LIKE NEW!! have pics...

this was the PRO who screwed alot up actually done of his workers....but bike was stripped, even more so now, its just a frame on a lift in garage, with boxes piled up!!!

changed bars , damm near everything last round

wheres my bike???

that was first style,Kuyarkyn Skull or zombie grips, got those too, 100 miles new, and 3 sets of different chrome levers, 20 a pop for others, not a scratch!!! now I went with Pro One Knife Levers,LOOK PIC BELOW,
And Arlen Ness Deep groove billet grips, w/ball bearing throttle, the part you see. the on grips, the deep groove, my guy painted color of bike under grips, wild 3-d look...

this is new grip, and lever setup, I change my mind alot!!! have 2 new sets for sale in package, the comfort set with rubber inlays, and another deep groove billet Arlen ness, 120 shipped, brand new in package!!!!...cheapest is 149, for those guys, other 90 shipped, think 110 or so cheapest for those,,

Is there a point to your rambling? I don’t think anyone can follow what the heck you bitching about, asking, or trying to say.

IMO just take have another set of cylinders bored/honed to match your pistons. Then re-ring them. Have Scott go through your heads, check for heat damage, replace valves and especially seals. Verify proper CC's for your cams and put it back together. Break it in per Scott's advice and get it tuned.

I have a bike in that has had 2 compete engine builds on it and he has yet to ride it a mile. He brought it in for a tune after the 2nd shop put it together for the 2nd build and it pulled a head stud when he rode it in the shop from the trailer. Now it's getting it's 3rd build, new cases this time. His bike is identical to your, color and everything.

For your build? Save the money. But once again I will refer you back to Scott.

....and a bit OT but relevant to all the post you have. If you found and are happy with your builder, and it seems like you are. Why don't you just let him do his thing. Build the engine. Break it in on the dyno, and go ahead and have him tune it.
