Revolution Performance 107 big bore setup questions
Engine Mechanical TopicsDiscussion for motor builds, cams, head work, stripped bolts and other engine related issues. The good and the bad. If it goes round and around or up and down, post it here.
I'd up the squeeze, install a HPI 55mm, and a D&D Fatcat BB baffle.
Different bike then, as long as the heads are working, as Kirby has mentioned.

The heads were done by Revolution Performance, not sure if they are individually flow tested after they done, but here is their advertised flow chart. http://www.revperf.com/flowstage3.php
How would you go about bringing up the compression, and to what ratio Scott?
I am looking at HPI's 55-58 Max Flow.

I was just looking at RP's site. They recommend those heads for 113" and bigger engines, so you might be better off upping your compression and keeping the cams you have. Chances are those heads might be a little soft on the left side no matter what you do (aside from upping the displacement). I could be wrong though.
I'm going to have Scott shave the heads to bring up the compression, and I'll do the throttle body and re tune. Lesson learned, should have drove the 4 hours, both ways, twice the first time. My numbers are no where near they should be. Don't think I'll be parting with my Basanni's though, not a big fan of any of the 2 into 1's. Well thanks for ruining my weekend guys lol, and thanks for the replies.

I've been traveling up to Scott's for years now. Learned the hard way a while back....5 1/2 hours from the island. But then again I'm from up there...

That's funny you say that, was just talking to a friend who asked me if there was anyone closer, like maybe out on Long Island, I guess not. I was told when I was planning this job by a few of you guys on this forum to go to Scott, but I talked myself out of it because of the distance. So now I'll do what I should have done in the first place.
There are a couple of places that are around but the arrogance kinda pushes me away... I have worked personally with Andrew@Rosa's in Huntington and he really does very good work and is a very good tuner... I trust him...
I talked to Scott a little while this morning, sounds like a busy guy. He also sounds like the guy I should be dealing with. I'm looking for a trailer to borrow, if I can't find one I'll load it in the bed of mt Ram and go.
