I have a 2015 rgs with Rinehart 4" slipons, v&h dresser duals, s&s a/c, and a fuelpak 3 in my 103...looking for a little more low and midrange (2000-4000rpm)...my question is can I upgrade my cams and use the fuelpak or do i need a tune and dyno
so you want some more oooph in that range? try a gearing change be it primary or secondary.
old saying, "if you change one thing, probably have to change something else"! engine must be a system of well playing parts.
Yes, you can use the FP3. They have over 50 aftermarket camshafts incorporated in the View/Edit Maps area. After choosing the cam, they suggest running an AutoTune session.
Edit: If the cam is not listed, you can always call and they'll manually modify your map for you. Of, course, nothing beats a good dyno done by a competent dyno operator.

Im not being a smart **** but I think you need to learn about cams. There's a good sticky topic that'll help with what info means what. The S&s 585 cam is not suitable at all for your bike and what you want. Look at cams with an earlier intake close. Hard to beat the cyclerama 570 for a stage 1 Tourer for what you want. Good luck
If you want a great answer from a builder up in NY, call Scott at hillside cycle. Jmo, 585.....no, and fp3 no. Wrong cam for what want. There are better choices, then dyno tune it after the install. Chances are the tuner will not want to use the fp3 unless you insist.
Andrews 48 will achieve the OPs goal. The FP3 is no substituted for a proper dyno tune but plenty of FP3 guys have been happy with what they can do with the FP3 and the V&H tech support is said to be excellent. Tune with the FP3 first and if the OP isn't satisfied, he can always head to the dyno.
