you did a very good job in drilling the broke stud,a lot better than most we get in here where guys have tried then bailed & decided to have a machine shop repair it.
Drill and tap it out to the next size and put a step stud in there. Available at NAPA or any place that does head work.
I've never had much luck getting heli-coils to last long in aluminum heads. A step stud with high temp adhesive is usually a perminant fix. Let us know what you do and how it works.
