Default Engine swap

I've got a 2007 Electra glide classic. Yesterday something went horribly wrong. Metal on metal in the engine. I could feel the Pistons in my seat and foot boards. I've now got metal in the oil and I'm sure I will find alot more damage once I get in there. I reached out to a few friends and one of them has a lead on a 2015 VT that came out of a Street Glide. My question is would this new engine work and how hard would it be to make it work

Should drop right in,might have a problem with top motor mount but don’t think it will be much of a problem to fix

Wiring is gonna be a bear. CANbus came out in - what, 2009? 2014?

Your ECM won't work with the new motor, at least not plug and play.

Should not be a problem. I'd check it closely tho. Will also need to use the top motor mount off the 07.
