Default Twin cam Engine squeal

Hey guys new to the forum. I’ve recently purchase a 2001 fxdwg with 8k miles. Has supposively has screamin eagle heads, punched out to 103ci and new ignition ( I know I’m probably missing something) came with receipts from 2016. I’ve put 150 miles on the bike and I have this hell of a squeal coming from the engine. I’ve double checked everything that could be loose, exhaust, heat shield etc. what do you guys think? Thanks In advance!

Hard to tell, but sounds like a rubber squeak. Check motor mounts, gas tank mounts, etc.. With motor running, put your head down there. With motor off, shake bike, gently tap all parts with rubber mallet, etc...

i thought the same thing.. motor mounts and tank are all tight although I couldn’t really get to the rear mount. Idk I can’t figure this out. If it was something internal it would get louder with Rpms i would think?

Not necessarily.........could be something in the primary area.......what SOUNDS like a rubber squeak might be a metal scrape......we dont have the luxury to be there and hear it in person.

That's I was thinking. Only seems to be there at idle. Doesn't cost much to have a look at the compensator..
