So you are saying The HS and PD builds are better than your previous FM builds? Were they dyno tuned at the same place? Do you have dyno sheets?
Same bikes with different builds? Or are you comparing an SGS with an Ultra packing 2 people?
Various bikes with various builds. No complaints with any of them. FM treated me very well and they do make good power. I just got bored with everyone I ride with having the same thing. Using Scott or kirby, when someone wants an engine build, I can give them exactly what they're after, rather than asking if they want 222,555, or 777. Not knocking FM at all, I just wanted more options. I should also note that I am NOT a shop, just a guy helping people out from his garage.
riders should look for builders who build for ALL riders styles
In all seriousness, what does this actually mean? What does riding style have to do with it? If one is looking for a streetable engine that makes good power on pump gas and defines where in the powerband he wants this power, I'm not seeing what riding style has to do with the engine build. Are you referring where the customer primarily rides, ie sea level, mountains, drag strip, bar hopper, cross country tourer?

your last sentence pretty much sums it up,along with what RPM`s the rider wants the power in.getting input from the owner is very important when putting a build together.
I see they have S&S, Cycle Rama, Andrews and Wood cams listed for sale.
I would think they have every angle covered...
Speaking of 107 specifically we offer 5 different pistons in assorted compression & dome configurations, 3 different cylinder head programs, and a wide range of cams with our Fuel Moto "all inclusive" kits. For those looking for more options or for users that want to customize their build we also offer an assortment of piston/cylinder only kits and we carry cams from Wood Performance, Cycle-Rama, S&S, Redshift, and Andrews with some excellent packages that include cams, pushrods, & complete install kits.

Jamie, I recently did a cam swap for the S&S 551 gear drive, quickie pushrods, premium lifters, cam plate and oil pump and I am looking to build on that. What do you have/suggest/or recommend that would work well with that? Jugs, pistons, heads??? I have the stealth a/c, powervision for you and a D&D boss fatcat.

Sometimes the customer wants what he wants, no need to go any further unless the customer ask. Dealing with FM was an absolute pleasure. I had a budget I was willing to use for a quality build and I wanted a reputable builder. FM listened to suggestions based on my request ..... they recommended a 107 but I wanted a 110, didnt matter whether it would have made similar power, I wanted it for my own reasons. FM did everything to curb cost and yet they did suggest changes (header) to enhance the build, I took it! Im more than pleased with the outcome, what a pleasure to ride my SGS, I love it more every time I take it out. Did I mention I was in and out in 28 hours, who else does that? Over 40 years riding Harleys and never experienced power like this and yeah Ive rode my friends builds but this is the strongest Ive ever been on. I wanted more response and torque with reliability. I got the first 2 and well see on the latter.
