95 or 100 in a tc 88
#11
When the T/C's first came to market, Axtell Sales had 4" cylinder kits, immediately.
Ron Dickey, owner, gave us a set to test with.
We in turn, gave them to one of our clients, building him a 100" engine.
The 1999 Dyna is still in service, and was set up with our Stage II Heads, Wood 9B, 45 Mik, and 2/2 Supertrapps.
Mid teens hp and torque if I recall.
A 98" engine is only .060" less bore than a 100", and I would be hard pressed to tell the difference, on the dyno, street, or race track.

So update I went with 95 inch Keith black 10.5 Forged pistons , cycle rama heads , cr 630i cams man it runs nice then I knew it was Exhaust time . I wanted a fat cat but didn’t want to spend the coin right now , after looking got a great deal on a Freedom union 2 into 1 , wow I love this pipe sounds amazing nice deep tone . Power is great pulls like a freight train from down low to the top , no Dyna numbers yet but seat of the pants is awesome even cruises at low RPM beautiful

Thanks, but I meant the old kit that came out when the TC came out that Scott from Hillside was talking about. I can't imagine the cylinder skirts being that thin worked back about 18 years ago.
It's just recently that the 88" TC has the 100" kit because metallurgy is allowing a very thin cylinder skirt that's (more or less) reliable and won't crack. Same thing with the Sportster having the 1275 kit now. Very thin cylinder skirts.
