Ok so I am building my 07 sg engine soon and gathering parts. So far I have purchased some tman 555 cams, the older non torqstr cams. Purchased Je piston and ring kit 317211 https://www.jepistons.com/Catalogs/P...n_cam-107.aspx . Need to have my stock jugs bored to Je spec, will have some mild port work done by a local shop I used in the past for abc race motors. My questions would be has anyone used these older 555 because I don’t see much about them can’t even find there specs. Also has anyone used these pistons and will the work ok? I have always been a Je piston guy so I stuck with what I know. I see all these big bore kits for $600-700 but they are just the pistons and jugs. Any suggestions would be great thanks. Will be my first time big boring and camping a Harley
also need so cam removal/installation tools if any one rents or has a set for a reasonable price
The 555 will work fine, but the cam is only part of the equation.
We offer your cyls bored/torque honed with our Wiseco/J&E forgings, ring end gaps are set, rings are installed, both cyl gasket surfaces are prepped, with a COMPLETE Cometic top-end gasket set for only $675.00.
Good cylinder head work on a 107" is brings the entire engine together....but a t/body upgrade should not be forgotten.
We also bore the late Delphi's to 50mm, or an HPI 51mm can be a bonus also.

what are your thoughts on these pistons? I see most kits run the wiseco or cp. if I had extra dough I would have for sure had you guys do the work just tight on money. Buying the bike was a big set back lol
