I have a set of heads ( 17248-07B & 17250-07A) that came in a 110 kit that don't match the part list in the kit.
Does anyone know anything about these heads?
Where did the 110 kit come from? IIRC, those are casting numbers that were recalled by the MoCo for valve guide failures. Surprised those are even available. The spring pressures were also quite high. They could be used with new bronze guides and springs replaced with beehives.
Maybe Scott or Kirby can fill us in; I am going from memory which is dangerous.
Thanks djl. I guess that's what I get buying from Ebay. The seller was shopanuck with 100 % pos. feedback.
What will it cost to get valve guides done?
Msg. either Scott at hillsidecycle.com or Kirby Apathy (Prodrag1320) here on the Forum and they'll give you the skinny and lo-down on what you will need to do.

dji I took some pictures of the heads and they look like they were cast in 2015. Would they still be the recalled heads?
Also took some pictures of the cylinders numbers. You have any info on them.
