oil temp sensor touring 2002

Default oil temp sensor touring 2002

I want to place a oil temp sensor in my 2002 electra glide
is this the right one?

Assuming your `02 oil pan has the threaded hole.
That is the p/n I see for retrofit
There are/were two( Silver or Black face) kits that offered the sensor/gauge/bracket/wires. ( 75320-05 )
They may be obsolete ?

That is a temp sender. Do you have the indicator unit that matches up to this sender? This is only half a temperature gage.

The '02 does have the threaded boss for the oil temp sending unit. Don't know what guages are in the OPs dash but suspect that there is an air temp guage that can easily be replaced with an oil temp guage.

How could anyone live without an air temperature gauge on their motorcycle?
