Yes, but did it have any TQ below 3000rpm? Did it have 10.8 comp?

I'm struggling to find a cam for my 95" that suits 10.5 comp and gives a broad TQ curve that is strong right from 2500rpm up to 5000. (Except a Woods cam of course )

Well, I suspect that the motor was close to that on compression. The big issue on the 570 is the 255 degree exhaust duration. On the intake, the cam has a 240 degrees duration. You really want a cam with a 240 to 244 duration.. I prefer to have the exhaust duration about 4 degrees longer. The Andrews 54 is a little short and the RS 576 a little long. I think either cam will work. I'd probably go for the Zippers RS cam.. Either cam with same intake / exhaust duration should work.

i dont think that you are going to hit 100//100 without headwork, i dont think....

I did run the Andrews TW54s in a high compression 95 inch that with headwork made over the 100/100 mark and had great manners and as all around very good,,,,,,had the headwork and a good pipe. the 54s are nice, there are probably better, but they dont suck.

Thanks, I'm running 2009 stock twin cam heads that have been cc'd to 83cc and a valve job. With stock beehive springs I probably can't run 580 lift, right?

Yeah, as stated above. I have the later model heads with a valve job, but No head work / porting.

What compression did you run the 54's at? I think the problem with the 54 cams is they're not suited to the shorter stroke of the 95" motor.
What can would you run with 10.5 comp?
thanks

Thanks.
Tman says these on his site that you can use these cams with 9.8 - 10.2 comp and even up to 10.5 comp. Although with the early intake close of 39* I'd be worried about detonation. Especially on a carbed bike?
Otherwise they look like a good option.

Not much difference between the 39 intake close with that and the 570’s 40 closing. I agree with Andrews 54 being a good bet and it’s probably cheaper

Before I pull the 570 cams, I wanted to see how far off I was with the fuel/jetting/timing.

Put a fresh set of plugs in and went for a good 45 min ride. The plugs look like I'm running lean up front and the timing looks off? Maybe I'm not getting the best out of these cams due to not being tuned properly?

This was with the 46 pilot and 195 main CV velocity needle 3.5 turns out mixture screw and DTT set on 2 / 2
