Let me get this straight. You want to build a second 105th anniversary? Why?
Have a buddy that bought a 95th anniversary fatboy, paid too much for it, and bought all the parts to convert it to a 95th anniversary heritage (1998).. He probably had 35K into it when done.. Got 7 or 8K for it on trade in on a 2011 RG custom..
Heck the funny thing is that I'd bet that the 100th anniversary (2003) bikes are more common than the non anniversary ones.. They don't have that dumb badge on the tank.
105 anniversary? What's wrong with a 104 anniversary. Or maybe a106th. O yeah, no anniversary emblem. Damn..
I think some of those parts you'd have to take back off to put others on. I don't know, I couldn't wade through all of it
thought maybe someone from a BMW forum having a little fun
Finally finished. 100% OEM 248 parts total. had to have redon on my ankle replacement so took longer than expected, but at least its done. Will post the build book and new pics after it warms up so I can get it all cleaned up.
