Default waterpump replacement

hy guys.
I'm in the progress of getting a new bike. I think the 2016 ultra noticed and decided to break her waterpump again.
since I told the dealer my bike is in good running condition I'm looking to fix the problem before the dealer ask for the trade in.

I fitted the new designed pump in July and drove 6000 miles before it broke again. and the seller is reluctant to warrenty it since I'm not Harley authorised.
I know the part on my bike is 26600050(a) but can't find one for sale that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
But i did find another pump would the pump 26600048 fit they look the same.
only the angle of connection is 90° bent

thanks in advance

Many euro cars have very similar pumps, I thinks it’s not difficult adapt one of these.

I don't own a dual cooled bike so know nothing about water pumps. I also spend some time over on HTT and ran across the following post from a guy in Norway that replaced his HD OEM pump with a Bosh pump. I think the Bosh pump cost about $80 and the HD pump $310-$350 depending on the source. It was a DIY fix and doesn't sound like more than a two beer job. Hope this helps.

My water pump stopped working during a trip on the west coast of Norway last summer. Lives in Oslo Norway. Read a bit around this forum, and came across this post. I bought the Bosch pump Part Nr. 0392020039 Required some rebuilding, as the inlet and outlet diameter is larger on Bosch's. This has now been put in place, test driven over 250 km. works perfectly. My local harley davidson dealer wanted 5500, - in norwegian value, for just the pump, with the upgraded pump that replaced the one my bike was set up with, with workshop costs change +++ the price was 12000, - For Bosch pump, the price was 700, - Actually a decent job, you need a 16mm hose, inside diameter, a little 12mm pipe for transition from 12mm to 16mm, some hose clamps, red antifreeze, etc. The cover that protects the pump needs to be modified a bit. Not a single error message since, the temperature stays at normal levels. Looking forward to many miles with Bosch
