Engine Mechanical TopicsDiscussion for motor builds, cams, head work, stripped bolts and other engine related issues. The good and the bad. If it goes round and around or up and down, post it here.
If the build is that old and the noise is new you might want to check your oil pressure.. Sounds like a good amount of rocker noise in front and rear box's.. But that is what I heard as well as a couple other's... The thing is though videos can be a tough way to diagnose without being there..
When you move to the right side, I hear the intake noise, which is normal, you can wrap a towel around the A/C to drown that sound while you try to locate other noise.
On the start up, when it didn't start on the first try, the pop sound like an exhaust leak, or it could have been out the end of the pipe in a closed garage, hard to tell.
To check for leaks, get a couple feet or so length of hose, 1/4" or smaller, hold one end to your ear, pass the other end around the exhaust flanges, or around any O2 bungs if the pipe has them, any leaks will be easily heard.
