I have a 09 street glide 96ci that I’m getting the cylinders bored to 107
The question is what piston should I go with? And where to purchase them?
as I need them to ship with the cylinders n heads
Thanks
looking for around 10.25:1 ish
Not for nothing, but you are shooting in the dark doing what you are about to. There is a little more math needed to make all your parts work together and produce good results. IE: cam selection, cylinder head volume and port work done( if any at all) head gasket thickness, intake changes, injector sizing, tuner to be used , etc. for good desired results....... Cylinders should be finished by the machine shop having the pistons in hand, not just bored. and then shove the pistons in the hole and hope for the best. ( like Harley does with their kits)
Find a reputable vendor and speak with them. to come up with a plan of attack, if you are not familiar with all the things I mentioned. It will save you headaches and wonga, in the end!
I am partial to Fuel Moto , as well as others here. They have great customer service and will guide you through the process. Good Luck with your project

Okay
I was under the assumption that I had to select a set of piston to send with the cylinders and heads and they would bore them to suit n do the math for me…going with there stage 2b for the heads
So I should call them to ask what they recommend?
Was thinking tw 555 cams
I have a power commander 5 now with a AN big sucker n Reinhart 2-1
was thinking keeping stock injectors and throttle body
I would go with the full fuel Moto 107 kit but the exchange rate and taxes n shipping would cost a fortune

I agree with shipping the actual pistons to the shop doing the boring
Here are 3 choice from CP with various CR`s
You pick and then "generally" the experts pick the cam etc based on your riding style / desired power band and so on
Plenty of people like CP pistons
Plenty of others like Wiesco
What does "your" builder like ?
Okay
I see that there is one with 10.25:1 so that will be my choice
I have a bit of ADD..always jumping around from one to another hard to make decisions lol
as for the cam I picked 555 after looking at dyno sheets
the 222 looks good too but I don’t think they do good with higher compression but I don’t really know
Go to big boys compression calculator and plug in your numbers
It will show actual vs static C.R.
I suspect after you do this you will pick the +3cc piston
So is it safe to have the static compression high and still run 91 pump gas and go by corrected compression for say a 10.25:1 or is static the one that counts
