Hi all.
I know that harley has some tolerance build into to many of their parts. I discovered 2 weeks ago that the EXH. adjustable push rods have a slight bend to them. When I took it to the dealer parts folks, they opened a brand new package of adjustable push rod parts and saw the same thing. IS this really normal?

Wow., that surprises me. If that is normal, I would think others would have commented on it previously.
There is no way the pushrod can be as strong as one that is straight. Rather than push straight up, the force will go a little sideways, which is not ideal. The added problem in this case is the pushrod is not straight, even when not under a load.
Have heard this before from some professional builders, right out of the package, would literally roll with a wobble on the work bench, was how it was noticed. Are there different versions or are they all labeled premiums? Do you have a part number?
