Would installing the Star Racing 30-30 cam in the 107 motor be beneficial?
Thank you
You have not provided enough information for an answer.
107" is not a factory configuration which means the motor has likley been worked which begs other questions. Have the heads been worked? What CCP? Is the exhaust stock? Most here are not that familiar with Star Racing cams so the cam specs would help, otherwise anyone that wants to answer has to go look up the specs. I don/t think I recall anyone on this forum running a Star Racing cam which tells me, that cam is not a popular choice; however, that does not mean that the Star cam might not be a perfect fit for the configuration but the devil is in the details.

my wife as a 19 heritage with the 107. They came from HD with the 107.
That is true, I just assumed Twin Cam. A more appropriate reply would have been "Twin Cam or M8?"; the OP did not provide a model year. To be honest, the M8 107 didn't cross my mind. I am just a Twin Cam guy so I guess you could say I am "a little out of touch" but I am claiming brain fart. In any event, thanks for the collective reminders about the existence of the M8 107" motor.
That being said, the OP still needs to provide more information if he expects an informed answer to his question. I did notice that none of the above replies attempted to answer the OPs question.

Probably because they don't know the answer. It's not the 22XE or 22XD.
What djl is getting at is it makes a difference what else has been done to the engine and where you want your power.
Depending on exhaust and such you could see over a 20hp gain and is a decent enough choice as a bolt in cam.
