Default 2006 Engine Swap question

I have an opportunity to buy a 2008 TC out of a softail that has been professionally built to 110 cubic inches for $2200. Has 490 miles on rebuild. Will this fit in a 2006 Ultra classic frame?

No. For a whole lot of reasons
Totally different engine cases and primaries. Check Ronnie's harley parts finder for parts numbers between different years

Necessity is the Mother of Invention. It will fit . . . . with a "little" persuasion, some cutting and welding to redesign the frame and a lot of cussing to make it fit. LMAO

The problem is it's a 2006 and probably already has other problems.
2006 was not a great year for touring and dyna twin cams.

It`s the B engine in an A chassis that makes it a no-go for sure

I want to hear that explanation as well. 2006 was an upgrade year for the Dyna; new frame geometry; six speed gearbox, 49mm forks. All models benefited from better flowing heads in '06. Seems to me '06 was not a bad year for either.

2006 was the guinea pig year for the Dyna (remember the new inner primary bearing install promise for free every 15,000 miles?) but there was no such experimentation on the '06 touring, just improvements.

Guinea pig year with the Cruisedrive 6 speed, improved frame geometry and 49mm forks and let's not forget the higher flowing heads. Guinea pig year doesn't necessarily have to be a problem year.
