I would say yes. If you look at a picture of the stock bearing, and then compare it to the Koyo Torrington bearing, it is clear the Koyo is superior. The Koyo full complement drawn cup needle roller inner cam bearing provides a higher radial load-carrying capacity than caged rollers. Superior to the OEM bearing.
It's cheap insurance for a solid, reliable build. Any reputable builder will tell you that.
You might have a B-168 in there. Someone posted the other day that their 2023 or 2024 had the B-168 in there from the factory. HD has them as a standard part number for a few years now. 9298B NEEDLE BEARING, CAMSHAFT.
I'm with Dan on this one if the bearing has the Torrington from the factory. Pulling out a sub1000 mile bearing is only going to end up making one less time the bearings can be removed from the case.

Ed, are you of the belief that you should R&R bearings only so many times before they start wear on the bore causing it to start to get a little sloppy? I have no engineering or written data to back that up, but I feel the same exact way. ESPECIALLY with an aluminium case, or worse in my opinion, aluminium wheel hubs! And if the bearings get cocked in the bore a few times, that just amplifies the problem. I hear people all the time saying that they change all their wheel bearings EVERY TIRE CHANGE!! That's crazy! Even ever other tire change is too often and causes damage and wear to the wheel hub bore, in MY opinion. Luckily, cam bearings only get changed out like 3-4 times during the life of the bike, unless............. the owner NEVER finds the perfect cam setup, lol.
