I have a 2003 TC88 Road King. Bike is fuel injected and completely stock other than the previous owner removing the exhaust baffles.
The bike started making a really quick hissing noise (just like opening a can of soda) usually when shifting 1st to 2nd usually accompanied by a cutting out sensation for a split second.
Other than that, it seems to be running perfectly normal. I’m assuming it’s some sort of vacuum leak. Are there common places I should be checking to see where the leak is or is it something completely different?
I’ll take a look tomorrow morning. I forgot to mention that the head gaskets as well as all other gaskets north of that were replaced about 1000 miles ago. The noise is relatively new. Last 100 miles maybe?
