Default Adjustable push rods

I have a 2003 88 tc. I put in the '98-in kit from Fuel Moto with new cams. I'm trying to get the pushrods in and all the videos instructions show the adjustment screw on the bottom of the push rod up above the block. But on mine the top of the push rod is up against the rocker arm but the bottom of the push rod where the adjustment is too far in the cam chest to do the adjustment. What am I doing wrong?
I have the timing marks lined up on the cam and crank, Im on the rear cylinder, and there is space between both rocker arms and the valves.

Stick your finger in there and hold nut while you adjust length some until you can get a wrench in there. A little tricky but you will get it. Use a paper clip and rubber band to hold tube up. Also make sure you have pushrods in right order. Longer for exhaust.
