Default 2015 CVO Twin Cooled Head removal

Has anyone removed their heads on a Wet Head Twin Cam? Specifically, how did you remove the coolant pipes from the heads? The service manual says to use Snap-On tool LDTSP4 or P/N B-41623. I've never used either of these tools and before spending a hundred bucks on a 2x use tool, I'd like to find out if there may be another way.

I disconnected the steel tubes from the manifolds on the rubber hoses and left the tubes in the heads. I wasn't doing any head work though.

Well ****...that's the reason I'm pulling the heads, to send them off for milling, porting, and polishing.

Let the search for knowledge continue...but very much appreciate the reply!

For almost every snap on tool like this, there is a lower cost alternative, usually from companies like Lyle and others that do the same job without the price tag. Take a trip to your local HarbornFrieght store or look on their website. Im sure there is an alternative.
