Your front pushrods may be loose. This is how the dots line up when on tdc compression for the front.

what would your suggestion be at this point? Readjust all 4 pushrods? If so, I would need to pull all 4 out and redo the pushrod adjustments correct?

Pull the spark plugs and rotate the motor for two minutes, very low drag on the starter, also disconnect the fuel line to the tank as to not make a mess. You can do one minute, let rest, and then do the second. I would wait for the fuel tune for restarting. Then we will see where your at.

I don’t think you let it run long enough. I did the same on my 07 and freaked out. Came here and they calmed me down . Put about 40000 miles on it after that.

Do you think my exhaust tone would sound different after I let the bike run awhile and let the lifters pump up? A few other forum members have mentioned not running it until I get the new map from Vance and Hines and upload it to my ECU. Your thoughts on that?

I would at least check the rears and readjust the front, only takes what 20 minutes? A trick is to reach into the lifter blocks to feel that the tops of the lifters are flush with the roll pin to
confirm tdc compression.

No need for another map yet. Even a 124 will start and idle on stock map, unless you've changed injectors.

I think at this point I will take it to the shop and have them do it. Thank you for your responses. Would it be safe to drive it back from the shop without the new tune?

Are you talking about the metal lifter retaining pin? Make sure the top of the lifters are flush with that metal pin? Do that on each cylinder when making pushrod adjustments? Do you think I did any damage by starting it and idling for 30 seconds?
