Hey all, I hope everyone is having a good new year so far.
Just wanted to update everyone on the cam install/pushrod issue. Got the pushrod issue ironed out and it needed the correct adjustment. Thank you all for your input and help.
Still waiting for Vance and Hines to send my new map but hopefully Monday since the will be back from Christmas leave.
I took off the Vance and Hines straightshots and put on a Cobra El Diablo 2 into 1. I followed all the instructions and it was a fairly straightforward install. On the exhaust flange nuts, I followed the manual for tightening/torquing. Started it up, sounds really good.
My question, how would you know if you have an exhaust leak 🤔
Im hoping that the map you are waiting on is for a 2 into 1 exhaust and NOT a map for the Straightshots. The 2 into 1 exhaust will require different mapping than the Straightshots you removed.

Yes, when I sent the bikes information to Vance and Hines, I included the new exhaust.
Thank you for the response, you hold the paper with needle nose pliers in front of the exhaust ports?
Yes. Interestingly, seen a lot of post that people respond if there is a leak, it will cause popping if you ****** back on the throttle.
Maybe it could but it would need a huge leak. If you align it and have a decent pipe fabrication, tightening the flanges on the new crush seals first, and then get the mounts and pipes, all should be good.

Light up a nice Dominican cigar and gently blow a plume of cigar smoke in any area you suspect of leaking. The smoke will tell you if there are any leaks!!!
