Having a Dyna 06, bored to 98 ci, with cylinders off for cleaning my JE Pistons #324720 3.937, I have not been able to find the installation guide for these pistons, only a general guide for mc pistons.
Ring Gap Order
The ring gap order in the general JE Pistons guide, differs to the ring gap order in the Harley service manual and it states it is only a general guide. As I have not been able to find the specific installation guide, I followed the Harley manual which has this order: From the manual How it is now.
I hope the Harley order will work, but I thought I would check here if someone knows if it is ok.
This is the guide I found, which does not separate the pistons. https://www.jepistons.com/ring-installation-guide-4032-pistons-instructions/
Thanks in advance

I assume that you have pistons made from 2618 high strength aluminum? If so, this is the JE sheet on their website. It breaks bore size down for some dimensions.

You bought performance pistons, the main difference in some cases is the ring end gap. Use their chart to set yours. As far as ring stagger, use their guide, it doesn't have to match the HD manual.

Thanks, ok. Ring gap were set three years ago, just cleaned the pistons with brakecleaner and compressed air and then I messed up the ring gap order. Now I have distrubuted the ring gaps the Harley way. Question is, should I distribute them as above instead?
