The factory spec is .012 as of today, however HD has rasied it from the .002 spec in 06 to the new spec to do nothing more cover there rear ends due to the high problem issue with the stock cranks. Funny thing is that if you look at runout spec vs amount of oil pump gear to housing spec and do the math you will find that it doe not add up. Old saying the pen is mighter than the sword and in this case they saved a ton money by increasing the spec in hopes that you get more miles on the bike or time before it fails. One more thing many times if you take the time to take off the primary side you will find huge amounts of runout on the sprocket shaft, HD has no spec for that so I guess it is all good
