Default evo to shovel head

is it possible to put a mid 90s 80 inch evo motor into a mid 70s 4 speed shovel head for replacement motor

Just that the motor is available and shovel motor is hashed

Bolt pattern is the same but evo motors are taller than shovels. You'll run into some frame issue but if you have access to welding tools it can be done.

I agree with 48Pan, but be careful not to just start grinding on the frame for clearancing. I've seen more than a couple frames crack/break when someone thought this would be an easy "grind off / bolt on" kind of swap...
