Replacing stock exhaust
So I want to replace my stock exhaust on my '09 sportster low 1200. I'd like to do this myself. I'd say my overall mechanical ability is a solid 5 on a 1-10 scale. My plan is to remove the stock header pipes and mufflers and replace with the HD black header pipes and black SE slip ons. Easy job? Anything to look out for along the way? Special tools needed? How long should this job take? Any engine tuning necessary at completion? Thanks for replies!
