Manual Compression releases sticking
Put a 103 stage II kit in my 2010 geezerglide. At the dealers recommendation, I also had the heads drilled for manual compression releases (didn't want to pay for new heads with automatic releases). The releases worked fine for the first few starts then started to stick a little and then had to rap the throttle several times to get them to pop up. Have taken them out several times to loosen them up so they would work right. Same thing after a few starts. Thought they might bad releases until I replaced them with a set of JIMS releases.....guess what, same thing. What is one to do to fix this problem or do I just live with it.
