Tying to pick the right cam is sure confusing,I am trying to get one for my 05 stage 1 88 FXDWG.At least I have it narrowed down to half dozen or so lol ,I ride mostly highway 1 up,I don't have a tach so no idea where I am at as far as rpms when riding.Would like to go 95/7 in the next yr or 5.I would like just a little more hp/tq for now.I have talked to several indys and they all have there favorites.I was looking at Andrews 26 or37,S&S 510 chain drive,Dave Mackie 510,SE 203 OR THE 204 .My crank run out was .003 the cost of the gear drive is the kicker for me Any feed back would be much appreciated.

The relatively low compression of the 88" (9.0:1) compared to the 96" (9.2:1) or the 103" (9.6:1) makes cam selection a little narrower than the bigger engines. On your list I'd take off the SE204, the SE203 would be a bit better. I'd also remove the Andrews 37 and add the 21.
If your looking for low end torque go with the Andrews 21. The others are great midrange cams.
