So I bought a 2001 Night Train. Even though I asked, and wanted to drain the oil, the previous owner did not tell me about the cam tensioner shoes going bad. Now I need to look in the case after finding staple sized orange plastic pieces in my oil change. I need to soak the exhaust studs in a good CREEPING OIL to make sure I do not snap the studs. I plan on using the "Freeze Off" when I do the job, but what's good to soak the studs in all week?

The best product I have ever come across to soak nuts/studs/etc is Kano Kroil Oil
However, nearly anything from liquid wrench to WD40 should get the job done.
Overnight soaking is more than sufficient. If the nuts are still stuck on there then you can try other tricks like heat. Or, you can trying slightly tightening then reverse direction and loosen.

Of course, with the exhaust off you could yank the heads and do a 95" conversion.......
