be VERY carefull doing your own headwork.we get a lot of "DIY" heads in for us to see if we can "fix" them

Porting and polishing is something I'd be interested in doing but I can't find too much info on it.

I was always under the impression that you want to make straight shot into the cylinder, so shaping rather than enlarging would be my guess to do it properly.

Yeah, and rough surfaces on the intake vs smooth bore on the exhaust. I've seen it done but never tried to ruin a set personally.
