Default Jug normal running temps

I have an 07 FXSTC. After I ride, I shoot the jugs with a thermal gun. The front runs about 265 and the rear runs about 295-300. I'm curious if this is a normal differential?

Im guessing the answer is yes, due to the less air flow and the already hotter air passing the front JUG.

Normal. The rear will always run hotter than the front as cdonis points out.

Yep, I realize there will a temp difference due to the layout of the jugs, I'm just curious if the temps sound normal and if that is a normal spread.

I will repeat; temps are normal. I have seen hotter.

Just tested a 120r engine we overhauled yesterday. Front 280, rear 300.
