broke the casting to where the oil temperature bolt goes..noooooo!

And from the look of the other bolt heads, maybe a class or two on mechanic work. It looks as if you have been using cheap tools or an open ended wrench on those, the heads are rounded off.
As you may know by now, fasteners don't need to be cranked down on super hard. Most of your Harley fasteners will strip if you do.
