El Bruto 127/ S&S to Mikuni 48MM
I just pulled my S&S Shorty G off of my El Bruto 127 and installed a Mikuni 48MM carb, now the carb is sticking out 1 inch out further then the S&S. I am guessing I need to change the manifold, the other help I need is what carb bracket should I get for that engine, any recommendations or part names or numbers would be great.

I had the same issue with my 127 48 mikuni. I tried 3 intakes all the same.... went back to the super g with thunderjet. That mik really gets in the way. There is a cult following with both carbs. The mik is really smooth out of the box. The G really needs the thunder jet in my opinion after that mod its like butter. You can pick up a used super g with thunderjet on ebay for 100_150$

I really want to find a way to make this Mikuni work, Whatever custom work that needs to be done will be done. Its on my bobber so a little discomfort will not be an issue. Was hopping other people had the same issues with some good results
